I wasn't planning on purchasing anymore lip products because I'm very content with my collection as it is now, HOWEVER! Once I saw the L.A. Girl Lip Paints, I couldn't help but wonder if they were really worth all the hype I've heard. I purchased the colors: 'Coy' which is a beautiful violet purple. And the color 'Flirt' which is a pale, baby pink color. Both are stunning. At $4 a pop, how could I say no?

The Lip Paints are described as an intensly pigmented lipgloss that has the color payoff as a lipstick.

The Glazed Collection has 18 beautiful shades all, rich in color and shine. Not only does this lip paint have the wear of a normal lipgloss, without the drying or patchy pigmentation, but these lip paints have peppermint oil and vitamin e in them to nourish and protect the lips. The Lip Paints have a plastic tip applicator that makes it easy to push the product up and out and easy to glide right on to the lips. If you do not like lipgloss, these may pose a problem as these are extremely shiny and glossy. These are not sticky, but the main issue I have with these, are they are slightly messy to apply. You may find that you need more than one coat to get the full color payoff of these glosses. Although extremely pigmented, you can simply layer these lip paints for a more true color payoff. What I love about these glosses is the glossy, wet look you can achieve from these. The finish is almost reminiscint to candy that's been sucked on, a wet, jelly like texture. I also found these glosses easy to remove. Simply just wipe them off, and there are visibly little to no traces of color left on my lips. Overall, I am a fan of these lip colors. They smell great, and the color payoff is to die for. As I mentioned above, if you are not a lipgloss kinda gal, these may not be the best pick for you.
