Lanocreme Bee Venom Face Mask

Perhaps all the media hype persuaded my opinion to purchase this anti-aging bee venom mask. Everything I was reading suggested that bee venom does wonders for your skin and is actually loaded with antioxidants. So I jumped right on the boat and tried this bee venom mask. (over 1.oz of product I purchased at Marshall's for around $10 I believe.) You can also find it a little bit price-ier here: http://www.amazon.com/Lanocorp-Lanocreme-Venom-Face-Mask/dp/B00MH7UGGM

This product is made directly from New Zealand and contains Lanolin (to hydrate the skin), Bee Venom (which helps stimulate collagen production), Royal Jelly (nutrient rich substance), Elastin (a protein that helps firm the skin), Propolis (anti viral, antifungal and antibacterial benefits), and Manuka Honey (has amazing healing properties). This mask gives your skin a beautiful glow. I first cleansed my face prior to applying this mask so product could be absorbed better, and so my skin was clean. After cleansing, I patted my skin dry and applied the mask, starting on the forehead and working my way down. This mask can be left on for 15 minutes or can be left on completely and used as a night creme on it's own. After applying a generous amount of product you immediately feel a burning sensation- hense the name. The burning sensation is intense, and lasts around 10 minutes at most. To me, this signifies the product activating on my skin and you can feel this mask absorbing into your skin. My skin soaked this mask right up, so I opted to leave it on as a night cream. The product is not as activated when you first put it on so it's a lot more tolerable. To me, beauty is pain! So as much as I love this mask, I hate it at the same time because it's very uncomfortable and actually feels as if you were stung by a bee all over your face. The effects of this mask are SO worth the pain though! As I mentioned, your skin radiates after this mask is applied and it even firms your skin.

Bee venom isn’t the only thing in the mask, but it is supposedly the key active. The skin reacts to the venom as if it has been stung, thereby jump-starting the production of elastin and collagen. OK, so the only thing not to like about this mask is the preservatives in it. Other than that, I have no complaints.

*WARNING*

If you have sensitive skin this product is not recommended for you. This product takes time to build up a tolerance for due to the bee venom in this product. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.*
