This foundation comes in seven colors. This is a cream foundation that doesn't feel greasy. It's very pigmented, so a little goes a long way. I would say this foundation is medium coverave, but can be used to conceal when built in small areas such as, blemishes and under eyes. At first, it'sa tad on the dry side, but when warmed up with the fingers, the top layer reveals the soft cream underneath. I 100% recommend a silicone based primer with this. A representative from The Balm actually put a pea-dime size amount of primer into the foundation, swirled it in, and then applied to the face (with a brush). This smooths it out and creates a beautiful satin finish. I was scared to try a cream foundation because of my combo skin, but with a primer, it lasts and doesn't feel greasy. Although, I would definitely set this with a powder even if you have just a little oil. You may not need to if you're on the drier side. I would recommend this if you're looking for a good cream foundation. I would give this a 3/5. I do like this foundation, but I don't really find myself reaching for it often, because I just prefer liquids. It does cover and look nice on the skin, but I just like the feel of a liquid more. Also, I'm not a huge fan of the packaging and the fact that they only have 7 colors. That's why I can't give this a full 5/5. Although, I still enjoy this product. -Stephanie You can find this product at select Kohl's stores and at TheBalm.com

I decided to do an updated post on this particular foundation after reaching at the very bottom of my foundation collection where this seemed to have disappeared. I opted for this foundation shortly after I had heard about one of the Balm reps who had used this magnificent foundation mixed in with the primer as an all in one product, as Stephanie had mentioned above. Shockingly, this was the first cream foundation ever, that I had purchased. Now that I have purchased and used quite a number of foundations, I can give my thoughts on the Time Balm with more consideration. Overall, I think Time Balm is a wonderful product, but it works best if you already have good skin. I'm not sure if something happens in terms of your skin's condition after you use a cream foundation for awhile, (?) but I wore this for about 4 hours today and it was noticeabley seperating on top of my skin especially in the more oily areas of my face. I could only imagine someone who has exessively dry or oily skin trying to apply this let alone wear it all day.. (yikes) As for me, my skin is normal, with the occassionally oily t-zone and combo type areas on days that my skin decides it wants to change. A problem that I have with most foundations, Time Balm included, is that although it looks dewy and fresh when first applied, come a few hours later, it starts slipping off, seperating or drying up on my skin. At the same time, if you apply the foundation all over your face and you have combination or oily skin, you'll end up quite shiny in your T-zone. On a day-to day basis I don't normally reach for The Balm anymore, because of the problems I'm experiencing with it seperating not even after 4 hours of wear, unless I'm having a good skin day.

Left side is no foundation only moisturizer- Right side is 2 layers of time balm. I would say this is a full coverage foundation because it did cover quite nicely over my skin, including the redness near my nostrils and chin. This is not set with a setting powder and as you can see it has a slight dewy finish to it. Another thing I noticed with this particular foundation and the color "light/medium" is the color tends to pull more of a yellow base. I, happen to have more pinky and red undertones to my light complexion. Since this color was not too dark for my skin, I can get away with a little bit of a sallowness to my skin.

This is after I set the foundation on the right side with the Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder. You can see how it instantly mattifies the foundation. Everything seems to be set in place, but feels slightly heavy on top of my skin. The finish is really nice and my skin looks smooth.

After 4 hours of wear, you can't tell from afar but it was seperating. The creamy formula still felt like a cream on top of my skin even after setting it with a powder and I could feel the heaviness on top of my skin like wet paint seeping into a wall. This isn't the worst foundation I've used, but definitely is not one of my favorites unfortunately.

However, depending upon your skin type as I mentioned, it could work for you.
